1) FundraisingThe purpose of this is to give the cohort an opportunity to raise funds to ease the burden of paying for dip/grad. Money earned goes to your personal fund (though we hope you’ll ‘donate’ it to those who have trouble paying). Everybody can play his or her part. Minimums of 15 people have to sign up. If not, we will be unable to go ahead with this.
How to go about this:
1. Use the comments section here on this blog to sign up (you have until 28th July)
2. We will have a constantly updated list on this blog to show what people are selling/doing (Please, no live animals)
3. Fundraising will be help from 15th-18th August (hopefully beside the graffiti wall next to the canteen). If there are too many people, we can take turns selling on different days.
4. Set up your booth ☺ This is YOUR event so it’s up to you to dress it up. Dip/grad exco will help with logistics, but not things like getting music, for example.
Start thinking of what you want to do! :)

2) Collection of moneyWe’ll only start in August, so that leaves you about a month to gather some money first.

3) SponsorsWe’d like to get as many sponsors as we can because remember– the more sponsors we have, the less we each have to pay.
People who have contacts of probable sponsors,
please contact Joan who is in-charge of sponsorship at
joanlim_85@hotmail.comPlease do not go to the sponsors until Joan sends you a proposal letter. Reasons being one, so it is more professional, and two, to avoid any legal issues.
